Attention United Methodist Women   Please remember to register for Legislative Advocacy Day 2019 which will be held at Epworth Children’s Home in Columbia on Tuesday, February 12th.  Forms are available.  Avoid paying a late fee by registering by February 1st.  Transportation is being arranged so let D. Johnson know that you plan to attend.

 

United Methodist Women meeting time has changed.  John Wesley United Methodist Women will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16th.  Afterward, we will attend the Prayer and Self Denial program at Aldersgate UMC where our newly elected Conference President, Mrs. Cathy Ford, will be the guest speaker.  Please make every effort to attend.

 

 

Please continue to drop your used postal stamps and aluminum tabs  in containers in the rear of the sanctuary.  Leave a margin around the stamp if possible.  This is a United Methodist Women conference fundraiser.

ATM Machine in the event you do not want to write a check or put cash in an offering envelope, please be reminded that every Sunday your church contribution can be entered in the ATM machine at the back of the church using your credit/debit card.  Someone will be back there to guide you through the use of the machine (Mr. Bostic, III or Mrs. Lynn).  A church envelope must still be completed to indicate where you want your donations to go.

 

Copies of the January/February Upper Room Devotional guide are available on the table in the rear of the church today for $1.00 per copy.

 

Basket of Hope  Please remember to make your donations in the rear of the sanctuary.  These donations are handed out to those in immediate need of food.

 

Flowers have been placed in the chancel by Dr. Morris F. Hall in memory of his grandparents, Mr. Sumlar & Mrs. Mollie Hall and his parents, Mr. Elmer T. and Mrs. Geneva T. Hall.
